I know what it's like to build something while life is happening all around you: grief, illness, family, and the constant juggle of running a business alongside it all. That experience is what drives everything I do at The Business Lounge.

I'm an AAT licensed accountant, HR professional and certified business strategist, I founded this community because I kept meeting brilliant women who were working incredibly hard but felt lost when it came to the financial side of their business.

Understanding your numbers isn't a nice-to-have. It's the difference between a business that survives and one that actually thrives. And yet it's the thing most business communities skip over entirely.

My background means I look at businesses differently. I understand how strategy, people and money connect and I help women join those dots in a way that makes sense for their actual lives, not just on paper.

My own journey hasn't been straightforward. I lost my mum to breast cancer at 19 and faced my own diagnosis during the pandemic. I know what it means to keep going when things are hard, and that's shaped everything about how I show up for the women in this community.

Outside of work I'm a mum of two, wife to a charity-founding veteran, and permanently followed around by a very enthusiastic cockerpoo called Lily.
